The French led UN force in Lebanon has already said it won't get into any scraps. If they come across any Hezbollah terrorists cruising around Southern Lebanon in their Katyusha trucks - they'll report it, but won't fire at it.
If they witness any armed guerillas toting RPGs into forbidden areas - they'll report it, but won't fire on them.
If they discover evidence of arms smuggling into Southern Lebanon by Hezbollah militia - they'll report it, but won't fire on them.
So what will they fire on?

One can't help wondering, if UNIFIL do open fire on Israeli jets and, just supposing, the Israeli jets respond by launching a Maverick into the attacking UN vehicle - what will the UN response be?
