Questions

There are so many of them. Here are just a few.

Why is it OK to order the death of 200,000 innocent unborn children every year, but not OK to order the death of maybe a dozen or so convicted murderers every year?

Why is OK to hunt and kill rats or pigeons, but not OK to hunt and kill foxes or pheasant?

Why is it OK to criticise and mock Christianity and Christians, but not OK to criticise and mock Islam and Muslims?

Why is it OK to have an organisation aimed at black or Asian people, but not OK to have similar organisations solely for white people?

Why is it OK to have institutions for women that discriminate against men, but not OK to have institutions for men that discriminate against women?

It's OK because when you embrace liberal/leftist values, all these things seem soooo sensible. Those of us who refuse to become lobotomised will continue to struggle with these questions!!!

On third point, just usual PC way of treating minorities.

I see no need for gratuitous abuse but a free society should allow mocking/criticism of any belief, whether religious, secular or political. I do not see it is possible to argue for one's own beliefs if one is not allowed to criticise or cast doubts on contrary views.

Let's hope we do not get this daft religious protection law. Not only will it be a one sided restriction by definition for us secularists, but I think you will find in practice that Christianity is gagged while Islam continues to say whatever it pleases.

Another rich source of daftness is the Geneva Convention. You cannot gas a man but blowing his limbs off or burning him to the bone is fine.
