No choice for non-Muslims in halal meat row

Parents in Reading are incensed that a number of schools in their area are only serving halal meat - and have been for some time.

Animals slaughtered for halal meat have their throats slit while still conscious and slowly bleed to death - a practice condemned by the RSPCA and which many non-muslims find inhumane, barbaric and offensive. To introduce a policy of halal only meat to schools without informing the parents shows a disregard for non-muslims which would, if it were the other way around, cause a massive outcry from the multi-culti industry.

The rest of us are expected to put up and shut up. You see, we don't matter.
