Pete Doherty is more famous for his appearances in court on drugs charges than he is for his music career as a rather weedy lead singer for a rather dull rock band, while Kate Moss is a passably pretty girl - by which I mean you'd pass her in the street and barely give her a second look - whose talent extends to being able to walk and pout simultaneously.
Yet somehow, this shallow, talentless duo make it into the papers and onto our news programmes for a have-they/haven't they tied the knot moment.
Who cares?
