Rise of the baby snatchers

More than 900 babies each year are being snatched from their parents by social workers operating through secret courts to meet government adoption targets - up almost three times as in just 10 years.

I would guess this is being done under the umbrella of "child protection", but I have little faith that our social services, riddled as they are with political correctness and liberal progressive attitudes have anything more than a veneer of consideration for the child in any particular case. As we have seen in many high profile cases in the past, social workers are reluctant to act if the parents fit into one of the liberal progressives perceived "victim" groups - generally ethnic minorities, junkies and single mothers. Instead they will make every effort to ensure that the child remains in the "care" of the "victim".

This is the moral cesspit that is Britain today.

It reminds me of the old joke of the Rottweiler and the social worker

Q. Whats the difference between a Rottweiler and a social worker?

A. The Rottweiler eventually gives the child back.
