Just a thought
Funny how the arrest of Conservative MP Damian Green happened on Blair's last day as Met Police chief, isn't it?
Just a thought.

I had the same thought first but I do suspect Jacqui "bitch" Smith had something to do with it and while Brown was denying all on the Sky News interview on the train, his body language gave away the fact that he was lying when he said no minister knew.
Oh, it's inconceivable that something like this could happen without anyone in government knowing - it was anti-terror police for a start so they'd have to inform the Home Office at least. However, I'm unable to get too worked up about it - the government have been using the police and the law to quell political dissent for years - both Labour and Tories - most obviously against the BNP.
To paraphrae Pastor Niemoller - first they came for the BNP, but I wasn't in the BNP so I stayed silent .....
