The kids aren't alright

I didn't watch Question Time last night, but did switch over in time to hear a Mayor Boris idea to get kids involved in cubs and scouts to prevent them drifting into knife crime getting murdered by some black female writer who delivered the usual liberal progressive drivel with usual liberal progressive fake earnestness.

It's 'cos they are bored, she said.
They have nothing to do, she said.
They have nowhere to go, she said.
No one listens to them, she said.
Everyone hates them, she said.
We have to listen to them more, she said.
Our generation has got to stop exploiting them, she said.

What a load of bollocks!

They're bored? Even if you leave aside the fact that they have 24/7 entertainment on hand through things like the internet, games consoles, dedicated youth television stations plus huge swathes of the main channels dedicated to their entertainment the idea that someone might be bored so they think "I know what I'll do - I'll get myself a knife and find someone to stab" is patently ludicrous.

Nothing to do? Well, as I mentioned, they have entertainment on hand 24/7. Far from having "nothing to do" they have far more they can do than we ever did - but how often do they do any of the things we used to do? We have several local parks which rarely get used except for when they congregate to drink cheap booze and use cheap drugs. There are football pitches that sit idle virtually all the time. They even have goal posts! When I was a kid, a proper pitch with proper goal posts would have been in use all the time. What about picking up a book and reading? Or how about they go fishing. Come on - when was the last time you saw a young black male sitting by the river or canal fishing? The trouble is, reading a book or fishing requires patience - and that is something this generation of youth is seriously lacking. They want it all and they want it now.

Nowhere to go? The writer moaned about the lack of youth clubs, but what the hell does she think cubs and scouts is? They ARE youth clubs - but they are youth clubs that require the youth to be actively involved when all they want to do is stand around drinking cheap booze and using cheap drugs. It's not the lack of nowhere to go - it's a lack of places to go to get bladdered.

No one listens to them? Are you kidding? There are legions of taxpayer funded workers dedicated to listening to the youth of today. They've been given substantial "rights" without any responsibility and the politicians of today spend more time listening to modern youth than they have at any other time in history. Everyone listens to them and do pretty much what they ask for - but things get worse. Why? Maybe it's the fact that a 16 year old doesn't necessarily actually know what is best for them.

Everyone hates them? What crap! Most of those people who supposedly "hate" kids actually have kids of their own. We don't hate them - we hate the society that allows them to become trapped in a spiral of destructive dependency on welfare, booze and drugs. We hate the way secularisation has created a consequence free environment for kids to grow up in - only to find out as they get older that their actions do have consequences when they get older, by which time it is too late.

We have to listen to them more? Why? As I said, it is the misguided belief that kids know what is best for them that has led to this situation in the first place. They don't. Contrary to popular liberal progressive myth, kids need rules and discipline - what is more, once properly in place and properly administered, kids actually LIKE rules and discipline.

Our generation has got to stop exploiting them? The only members of my generation who exploit kids are liberal progressives who use them as a means to achieve an end. Only when liberals stop using kids as a tool to impose more of their ideology on society will the exploitation of kids end.

I'm sick and tired of hearing liberals berate everyone else for the failure of their policies. So called "social liberals" have been in control of Britain for the best part of sixty years and the reason kids have gone off the rails in such a big way is entirely down to them. Their deliberate destruction of the old social rules, Christian morality and the gradual diminishing of the rule of law has created the situation. The best thing they can do to put it right is fuck off and die.
