Non-judgemental social services ....

... unless you are a man and a soldier.

Because he was a man and a soldier - accustomed to fighting for Britain in war-torn countries - he was, they said, more likely to be of a violent disposition, and therefore more capable of abusing his baby son, Louie.

You can probably include white and heterosexual as attributes which exclude you from not being judged by social services - oh, and smoking cigarettes. Any of those will put social services on full alert and bring the full wrath of their judgementalism down upon you.

I, like many people of my generation, am a child of a man and a soldier - one who fought to protect our freedoms from tyranny.

Seems like they wasted their time.
