Solar eclipsed

If you've caught the BBC news over the last couple of weeks then you must be aware that a large chunk of ice has broken free in the Canadian Arctic which the BBC has been quick to tell us - again and again - is evidence of impending doom all caused by mans CO2 emissions.

But, as CO2 Science points out, the reality is very different from the picture portrayed in the media as the Arctic did, in fact, cool over the last 70 years of the 20th century with the most significant cooling occurring at a time when CO2 emissions were at their worst between 1930 and 1970.

Part of the reason for this cooling was due to the fact that the Arctic really did suffer an alarming rise in temperature up to 1930 - a rise which the IPCC attributed to the sun. The Arctic has been warming again recently, but it still remains cooler than in 1930, and this warming coincides with another period of high solar activity, but this time the IPCC - and the MSM too - ignore that and blame CO2 as the culprit.

The propaganda being put forward as "evidence" is startling for two reasons. Firstly, because it is so one sided with virtually no mention of studies such as the one cited by CO2 Science which clearly demonstrate that the fundamental hypothesis of AGW is flawed while allowing Al Gore's ridiculous shockumentary to be promoted throughout our schools as "science".

Secondly, because the "evidence" supporting the propaganda is so bad that it even manages to contradict itself blaming the sun for warming the Arctic up to 1930 and then dismissing it as a factor this time.
