Some Pakistani politician has, apparently, said that the decision to award author Salman Rushdie a knighthood is justification for suicide bombings.
Personally, I think that the award is an affront to literature as Rushdie's work generally consists of turgid, unreadable garbage - but regardless of my opinion of his writing, to whom our Queen awards knighthoods is absolutely no business whatsoever to some loathsome creep of a politician who really ought to be worrying about his own cesspit fake nation.
Personally, I think his repulsive comments are justification for us to perform a few bombings of our own. How far is it from Helmand to Peshawar, anyway?
