Sophie Parks, 17, suffered cuts and bruises and was admitted to hospital on the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides.
Her family claims she was repeatedly beaten up and called an "English bitch" by a gang of girls during her time at the Nicolson Institute in Stornoway.

You must understand Stan, it's because we're ignorant of Scotland and Scots. It's a cry for help.
1 in 3 employed by the state. More money spent per head on Scottish health. No tuition fees. Free care for the Scottish elderly. We can't afford to give them any more help.
