The veil slips

Drinking From Home carries an interview with the veil wearing teacher, Aishah Azmi. Peter Sissons asked her if she wore the veil for the interview - with a male governor - and, after trying her best to avoid the question, she eventually concedes she didn't.

This is beginning to sound like one of those deliberately manufactured "wrongs" against muslim rights which are designed to further the push for Sharia. Like Sabina Begum. Only this time it seems to have back fired.

While watching the video I was struck by how incoherent her speech was and how badly phrased her English was. She is supposed to be an English teacher.

Gawd help us.
