Why liberalism will always fail

Following on from my previous post, I read this.

Hazel Blears, the Communities Secretary, defended Labour’s policy on religion after a report backed by the Church of England claimed that Muslims receive a disproportionate amount of attention.

She said it was right that more money and effort was spent on Islam than Christianity because of the threat from extremism and home-grown terrorism.

Ms Blears told BBC Radio 4’s Sunday programme: “That’s just common sense. If we’ve got an issue where we have to build resilience of young Muslim men and women to withstand an extremist message.”

Common sense? This strikes me as a prime example of where "common sense" has gone out of the window, but it doesn't surprise me as it is very much in line with the liberal progressive theory that one should reward bad behaviour and ignore good behaviour.

Effectively it is the policy known as "appeasement".

It doesn't work, it has never worked and there is no evidence it will ever work - but liberal progressives have it so entrenched in their mindset that they still can't figure that out. They are not dumb, but they are deaf and blind.

Face facts, people - progressive liberalism can not be the answer because it doesn't understand the question. Unless the west wakes up to this simple fact, western civilisation is doomed.
