It's been said that Brown is planning to reclassify cannabis as a grade B drug - but police chiefs have reportedly reacted by saying they won't change the way they deal with cannabis offenders.
The job of the police is to enforce the law. The job of Chief Constables is to ensure their force does that. There can only be one reaction to the police chiefs saying they won't do what they are contracted to do - sack the whole sorry bunch of them.
